Scars to your beautiful x

So the first time I had heard this amazing song I honestly just sat and CRIED so much because every line in the song is so true for so many women in the world and we totally need to just go crazy and believe in ourselves…

This is the beginning of the song and it just hits you.

She just wants to be beautiful

She goes unnoticed, she knows no limits

She craves attention, she praises an image

She prays to be sculpted by the sculptor

Oh, she don’t see the light that’s shining

Deeper than the eyes can find it

Maybe we have made her blind

So she tries to cover up her pain and cut her woes away

‘Cause cover girls don’t cry after their face is made

Oh, you’re beautiful, oh, you’re beautiful
And there’s a hope that’s waiting for you in the dark

You should know you’re beautiful just the way you are

And you don’t have to change a thing, the world could change its heart

No scars to your beautiful, we’re stars and we’re beautiful

Oh-oh, oh-oh

And you don’t have to change a thing, the world could change its heart

No scars to your beautiful, we’re stars and we’re beautiful

When I decided to do this post, I honestly just kept overthinking, what are people gonna say, I have way to little clothes on, my body image shouldn’t be in pictures like this, why would I even think of doing this! And I realized it wasn’t actually people, it was me!! Me, myself and I are the worst crit to self image! I put myself down on a daily bases and then social media just adds to it! Looking for attention or should I say confirmation to be “beautiful” but when someone compliments me, I never truly believing the person or take it in!

I told the Photographer, listen I know this is something you will probably be shocked to here me say but this is why I wanna do for this shoot!

We did a few images and I stood there in disbelief, looking at myself and actually thinking “wow Tiff you really are beautiful and your curves look great!” Still trying to look for the flaws of course!

And I wanted to write this post to make women understand that we as females need to be our biggest supporters! We need to be the ones telling ourselves we beautiful, giving off confidence, shining even when we feel dull, making a statement wherever we go, putting ourselves out there as if we are a Model because we can be!! We are all beautiful in our own way…

So with that being said make this song your anthem!!

Scars to your beautiful x

High waisted and crop tops are my new favourite thing.

Jeans – Mr Price     Crop top – Cotton on     Kimono – Cotton on

Heels – Cotton on     Rings – Lovisa     Watch – Casio

I think I have some obsessing with High waisted jeans and I love how it pulls everything together in this look. This jeans just has the right amount of rips and the colour stands out. I paired it with a simple grey crop top and a black kimono I bought at Cotton on. I just love it when you have nothing to wear but yet something to simple looks so good. I added a black wedge to dress up the look, still keeping it simple with a kick. Simple Gold jewellery to spice it up and look more elegant. I think I got right.

Never be scared if can rock a high-waisted short or jeans just do it…

Keep it simple yet elegant and you will have got a great look ❤

Dress – YDE        Shoes – Zoom

I have been dying to wear this dress to any event or occasion. Nothing has come up yet so I just decided why not wear it and make a post. I wanted to wear it on Christmas day but the weather just went crazy on the day and I decided to wear a safer option. I got this dress at YDE and fall in love my mom wanted it for her but I tried it on and showed my dad, he just said “no ways could your mother wear that” I just jumped around dress score ha ha. I love wearing white and if you look at a post I put up on Instagram a few weeks ago of Blake Lively in a maroon dress, one of my favourite colours. I said to myself  “if I can find a dress like that in white, I am so getting it!!! It this dress was longer I think I would have just bought it and saved it for my wedding day. My shoes I haven’t worn a lot after my 21st when I had gotten them from my boyfriend. They are amazing shoes and I find them the so easy to walk in. When I wear white I always like something to pop and this time I choose my shoes.

Make Up – Lion20two

I have been wanting to do a make up post for so long but have just been so busy with work and thought why not just do a 2 in 1 post. I have a simple face with my eyes smokey brown with a touch of black for definition and my foundation colour from Mac. When applying your foundation always remember to blend into your neck and blend all over your face. For a more matt look, powder your face with a translucent powder, if you can’t find your perfect tone. I darkened my brows with black pencil from Rimmel and used some brown from Rimmel to make it less hash. I then used bronzer from Victoria Secret as a blush because it was so hot my cheeks were pink already and I didn’t want to over do the pink. I lined my lips with a blush colour from Revlon. It’s a soft pink colour and then I used a Nude colour from Mac to cover the rest of my lips. I kind of liked the liner to show a little but tried something new and I’M LOVING IT #blushing

why did i put my brushes down

Lately I have been falling in love with make-up again!! Not really wearing it all the time but more being a make-up artist and not letting my 2 years of studies go to waste.

I think I lost my passion for make-up when I started wearing it so much and it started to define who I was. I never wanted to leave the house without my face on and it made me feel super insecure if I had almost nothing on (mascara and blush). I would cake (cover every spot with way too much make-up) my face and feel like I had come alive. I didn’t want that to define who I was or how I felt about myself anymore. As the picture says the way I saw my life, shaped my life. I never felt beautiful. I took a break from it just to find myself and just to feel like God made me beautiful with or without make-up. I still did matric balls/proms and functions that friends or family had asked me to do but I never really put myself on the market for a long time. I had spent time in front of the mirror, put up messages that would say, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made”, “You are beautiful”, “God does not make mistakes”, “No amount of make-up can make you more beautiful than you already are”, “Live for yourself and no one else” and “You got this”. After doing this for about a year I began to feel way more confident about myself and said “Okay Tiff you are a Lion and you will be brave in everything you do, no matter what anyone says.”

After being involved with Colour Conference 2015 hosted by Hillsong church. It truly awakened my passion for make-up and just being so excited with the outcome. I found myself being proud and overwhelmed with what I did on these amazing people. Seeing the singers and actors on stage, having the make-up on that I had done, really made me ask myself why I had stopped doing this. Why, why and why again.

I have recently done some make-up for more matric balls/proms and will start to do lots more make-up posts. I won’t stop adding my fashion and lifestyle posts but I feel like I should share my skills with you all in easy step by step guides. I really hope you would enjoy that :X

I just wanted to be very real and honest for a quick post and I hope you all got to know me a little bit more.

God bless

ladies night @ the yard

IMG_2300 IMG_2305

The Yard is a place with crazy atmosphere and super friendly people. I have wanted to go there at night for so long and decided that this was the place for LADIES NIGHT. We had a bit of a Photoshoot while we waited for our friend Claire. One of the waiters were kind enough to be our Photographer #sosweet #pullaface

The Décor around this restaurant you will not find anywhere else. It’s so unique and I love it. The one thing I love the most is that you write you name on the wall to place your order. Once it’s your turn the amazing cooks shout out your name  and you place your order, our name for the night was HEELS. Once your order is ready they shout out your name again to collect your meal. We took a few selfies while we waited for our food. When our food arrived we all dug in and all said “mmmmmm, that’s really good” It was awesome and at times I got the biggest kick from the Jalapeno Peppers. I died just a little bit haha but I am starting to like them a lot 🙂 The chips were pure perfection crunchy on the outside but puffy in the center , just the way I like it. We ended up staying at the yard just talking about anything and everything for at least 3 hours, like they say time flies when you having fun.

If you ever tight on a budget but want some really good food and friendly atmosphere the YARD is the place to be!!!

I removed my jewellery and shoes, added black hunky heels, black kimono, chunky earrings, a choker necklace and red lips. My heels I saw on a shopping trip and at the time I was like should I, shouldn’t I battle going on in my head and I didn’t get them the first time. I them went to work the Monday and during my lunch break I just had to get them, so I drove to the Cotton on and took these gorgeous heels and went straight to the till paid and will forever be in love with them. My black Kimono I had bought at Cotton on last year December on sale. It is very simple but makes any outfit whether it is with shorts or jeans look so great. I always wanted a long black coat and a kimono so far is the closest I have gotten to it. My earrings I had bought many years ago and haven’t worn them in a while. I thought it would suit this look perfectly and it matched my chocker I had purchased at Cotton on and I am on the hunt right now for more as you read this sentence. I love that it is not tight on my neck and also gives great detail even though it is very simple. My earrings are not heavy on my ears and just make me feel like I have the Glam look when I wear them. My Lip colour is from Mac cosmetics called Heavenly Hybrid. I love a touch of colour on my lips every now and then. My boyfriend doesn’t really like it because if I kiss him it stains of course he he (just claiming him) I do love some colour to pop especially when I am very natural with my clothing.

from day…

I always get frustrated when I have to wear one look for day time and a whole new outfit for the evening. So I am starting to get my outfit sorted for the day and evening by adding a few items to my day look.train shoot (1)

I am wearing a Corvette jeans which my boyfriend’s mom had purchased from Factorie for me. It is so comfortable, when I wear it I feel like I have sweat pants on but jeans fabric. This item should be on your shopping list. I then matched it with a thin white to for those hot days and it’s loose, so once again looking good but also comfortable. My hat is my favourite and if you know me really well, you could guess why……. haha okay. Of course it is my favourite colour. I know some people don’t understand it but that’s fine I LOVE MAROON ❤ I had been searching for a maroon hat for a few months now and didn’t want a floppy one. I found this one at Forever 21 and I just walked into the shop went to the till and was beyond excited to wear it as soon as possible! I love this one so much that I now am on the look out for a Navy Blue one he he. About 6 months ago I had put up a picture on Instagram that I really wanted which was a Gold Casio watch, my boyfriend had searched for from store to store and finally found the perfect one just for me. He had given it to me on the 19th of November 2014. We had been dating 3 years on that day and I was so happy to see that he had gone through all this trouble to get me the watch. I am never seen without it #blushing. Instagram really seems to be a place where people find gifts that I would like because I put up my Christmas list and my friend Andrea saw that I wanted thick gold rings. I was so surprised when I opened my gifts and saw that she had gold me these gorgeous ones at Lovisa. I love them and they make any out fit pop and also gives you a reason to show off a fresh manicure. My Necklace I had bought a few weeks ago at Mr Price and loved the details and different shapes that made the necklace stand out. My glasses, where do I start?? I have wanted to wear these glasses so many times but just never found the right outfit or moment to wear them. I am glad to say that you guys will see me wearing these more often. My boyfriend had gotten this when he was 16 from his grandfather but never wore it and all these years it was sitting in his room, never been worn or touched. When I saw them I went CRAZY, they were so different, small and fit me perfectly. He then said I could have them and I just blushed of course. During the day time I wanted something comfy for my feet and a simple white sandal from Mr Price was a definite choice.

Next week I will add me Night look so stay tuned 🙂

God bless xxxo

p.s It might look like I am calm in the last picture but I was going crazy because I have a fear of heights and there was a river below (panic and shouting for my boyfriend who was taking the pictures was my exact emotions)
